Thanks for this post. I haven't visited this place, and I am sure you are right about it being a great place for a visit. I have placed it in my list of places to see. I love art, and I am sure I will enjoy it. Right now, I am enjoying a few pictures of it that I found online.

I was lucky enough to spend this weekend at Blenheim (wakestock festival) where we camped in the grounds and watched the wakeboarding at the lake to the rear of the palace. Wow!! what a amazing place. Born and bred in Oxford and had never been there before. We did take a walk up to the palace but was not in a position to pay to go in (to be honest I thought it was quite expensive.) The view across the lake was awesome especially with the sun bouncing of the gold balls on the roof. Well worth a walk in the gardens on a sunny day and I think a visit to the palace will be on the agenda during the long school summer holidays...
