I saw that the council were treating a rat infestation at Langdale Common. I haven't seen any around for the last week or so, so it must have worked.

Shame really, I used to love spotting Mr Ratty on the way to work. They weren't hurting anyone were they? While all the poisoning was going on they was a note posted on the bridges to say that we couldn't feed the ducks, but now thats been taken down I am going to head down there later with a loaf of bread and the kids.

Rats aren't innocent. They are evil. Do you know why I said that? Last year I was on an apartment and the rooms were filled with rats. If you left some food behind than the next day it will be gone. And when they die, they give a horrible smell that might make you want to puke!

It's a very good step.Rats should be controlled so as to save our foods.One important thing-rats are the cause of many type of diseases too.

rats are innnocent.. really they are lol except for the fact that they are carriers of diseases. mice can be said to look "cute" but rats on the other hand are anything but adorable

Rat or mice and the word "cute" just don't go together in my book. I cannot stand either one. They have always gave me the creeps.

I wouldn't go so far as to say rats are evil. They are just doing whatever they can to survive after all. But the pests really do a very good job of irritating everyone and killing people with the diseases they carry.
