Have you stayed at the Star Inn on Watery Lane in Wantage? I've read totally mixed reviews. Is it clean, and does the noise from the bar area reach the rooms? Would you tell someone to stay there or go outside of Wantage for a room?

I haven't stayed there,but I have celebrated this Valentine's day there with my girlfriend.It's a very nice place to celebrate special occassions.I don't think there is much noise there.I will suggest everyone to stay there for a romantic weekend.

I have not stayed their but it is nice to know that the noise from the pub doesn't reach the rooms. I stayed at an inn once where you could hear everything from the bar in your room.
