I thought this was interesting. A Beaver was found setting up home on the Thames River, the exact place of origin is not being released. We might find out where it was once the wildlife management captures it.

I beleive that the wild life management moved all of the beavers from Thames river areas, which is why we no longer see a population. I don't know how it got their, but it is gone now.

That could actually end up being more significant than it seems because if more than one beaver sets up dams in the Thames it will throw off the natural balance that exists in the ecosystem. Hopefully they get the little guy home all right.

So is the beaver gone now? I am sure that they will find some place for him to go. It is sad though in a way because it sounds like he somehow got lost or something and ended up their.

well, at least he wasn't hurt or anything. the beaver probably decided that the river was a good place to set up home. wild animals can do a lot of damage without meaning to though.
