There are a few sports that I like participating in, but for the most part, I'd rather just watch someone else putting all that effort into it. Are you a player or a watcher?

I'm not really competitive enough to enjoy seriously playing any sport although I do like just tossing or kicking balls around and such. I'd say that I'm much more of a spectator than a participant for the most part although it probably would be better if I spent a bit more time playing rather than watching sports.

I like things much better if they're not competitive, too... jogging, hiking, running... if I'm not trying to "win" anything, it's a lot more enjoyable to me. Whether or not those things are considered "sports" when not competitive is an individual call.

I am more of a spectator although there are some sports that I play for the fun of it. I guess I'm just not that competitive when it comes to sports but I do have team pride

Yeah, same with me. I would rather not compete when doing a sport as my favourites really are swimming, hiking, going for long walks, etc.. I do cheer for certain teams but I just can't bring myself to get too into anything like that!

In Oxfordshire we have a whole range of sports, however the two most famous ones that put Oxford on the map are Aunt Sally and rowing.

I am more of a spectator. I am constantly taking the boys to one game or another of theirs. About the only one I personally play is baseball. We usually play for fun in the summer. I have to ask what is Aunt Sally? Thanks

Oh man, Aunt Sally looks like fun. I'd like to try a pick-up game of that with some people when I get settled in Oxford. I've also wanted to try rowing as I know a few friends who are really into the sport and it seems like it would be both great exercise and a nice way to get out onto the water more.

Now that is a different game. So I seen at the bottom of the link that a lot of people play this at the pubs or are on a league. So is anyone on here in a league. Very interesting game.
