The RSCPA found a decapitated swan in Lincoln Lake. Apparently, the nest of the swan was also destroyed with concrete blocks and metal. There is no evidence that the swan was killed by people but the destruction of the nest was obviously caused by humans. The RSCPA encourages anyone who knows anything about this to come forward.

I guess that is what happens when techology meets nature... neither of them can tolerate each other much and one of them has to give way to the other... and seeing how with global warming and all that... seems that nature is not on the winning side...

Reading this really broke my heart. I am very sensitive about animal issues and can't bear it when any harm is done to them.

It is true that this is what happens when "technology meets nature." However, there can be neither human beings nor technology without nature. All scientific developments are based on simple natural truths. I only wish that we human beings would show some concern for nature in our process of making "progress."
