Vegetarian Restaurants 2008/02/04 14:35 Karma: 0
I was wondering if anyone on here could recommend a good place to get a vegetarian meal? My cousin who will be traveling with us is a vegetarian and I figured someone on here might know of a place to try? Thanks.

Every restaurant and pub these days caters for vegetarians. Your cousin won't have a problem.

Thank you. That is great to hear. Around my area they don't always have vegetarian options on the menus. It is starting to change but the majority of the places don't unless you want a salad. Thanks again.

Well thats surprising to hear because according to me every hotel should have a vegetarian food, even non-veg people some times like to eat veg food. And I think veg is more delicious than non-veg.

To be honest I am not to sure about the hotel restaurants in my area. I live in a small place where there are really only two restaurants worth eating at and neither one have very many options on their menus. I am glad to hear that this won't be a problem because my cousin eats nothing but vegetables. She don't even eat the so called mock meat. She will be glad to hear this. Thanks again.

That's good to know too as I barely eat meat anymore and am sort of transitioning to becoming a full-fledged vegetarian (maybe after I try some of the best meat dishes at Oxford pubs). Where I'm coming from we have plenty of vegetarian only restaurants and almost every restaurant offers vegetarian options so I'm glad to know that this will be offered in Oxfordshire as well.

Gosh,

Sounds like vegetarian must be quite the popular choice by people in Oxford. We rarely have that in my area. There is still plenty of hamburger, chinese, and Mexican restaurants in the area. What is the popular food choice in Oxford anyhow...besides Vegetarian? What are the names of some of the chains in the area?

I would be curious to know some of the more chainlike restaurants in the area also? It is hard for me to picture ones like McDonald's and such. I guess because all the pictures I have see it would just seem out of place.
