On my quest to bring the shopping bill down, i have replaced many items with shop brands, but there are still things i really cant compromise on. For EG bin bags! the cheaper ones seem a false economy as I usually end up using 2 just so the rubbish doesnt pop through, the list does go on but i will stop there for now.
what cant you compromise on?

Last time I went shopping everything keeps going up in price. I try and buy the generic stuff but I cannnot compromise on personal products.

With rising prices, you often have to find things with a cheaper quality to substitute for those expensive brand name products. I find that if you get store brand, most of the time you can trust that the quality will be satisfactory.
