Hey friends! My name is Anthony Lipari and I am from Perth Australia. I am planning on moving to the UK in 2011 to pursue my studies for Evolutionary Biology at Oxford. I have some questions however, where is a good place to live near the university that I will be able to rent? It has to be descent with a full kitchen and bathroom. Thanks heaps

Sorry, I can't help you with where to rent in Oxford, as I am currently away from the UK. I am planning on moving back out their in a month, but am staying with my Aunt.

P.S. I love the Australia accent you have.

What I would do is eatheir call the college up and ask them where there would be places to rent near the college and then call those places up individually to find more information or I would look in a UK classifieds source online under rent/housing. And search in that area.

Welcome to the forum. I dont' live around this area, but if I were you, I would check in with the college and look into student housing or where some student housing may be. Sometimes colleges and universities offer dorm and apartment living that is near campus. You might even see if any of the newspapers are online, and check out the rental or real estate ads. Or you could also check websites such as yahoo or other real estate ads and check for rentals as well
