Parking a big problem 2008/03/22 13:02 Karma: 0
Couple of days back i was in didcot visiting my friend and found that residential parking over there is in awful state. The road where he lives is so over crowded that its a big wonder as to how a big wagon can get down it, never mind fire engines etc. What i think is that if the grass verge could be replaced with hard standing it would greatly improve the situation.
What do you think that should be done to overcome the mess that has been created in old didcot?

i think maybe just like you say, get some space for parking. but i personally think maybe they can build a parking space for everyone which isn't far away from residential area for visitors or others which equip with fine security.

Parking problem is not so critical there but the the problem is just created by the residents only.Public awarness & their consciousness will be more fruitful here.

Is making it easier to park really a solution?

Wouldn't it be better if there were fewer cars?

Couldn't we work on making it easier to get about the Didcot area without needing to have a car?
