What a shame, i only wish they caught the culprits, made them wear orange boiler suits and get them planting new tress funded by their pocket money!

Now that is a great idea if they get caught. Might make them think twice about destroying something just for the fun of it.

Gosh! Why the trees? Can't they find anything else to destroy? Maybe they could start with their rooms or their houses. Poor trees... They could not even defend themselves! I hope that the government will be able to implement strict laws about this.

Heck, I cannot figure out why the trees either? Who knows their rooms might be trashed? I just hope that they have been able to put a stop to this.

I guess the poor trees are suffering all over the world. I guess this place was no exception for people. I wonder why people destroy trees even though they know the consequences. That is really bad for even themselves.

What happened to these people? Have they turned into psychos or something? They must have ran out of things to destroy including their life so they turned to the trees.

Seriously, this is not a problem unique to Didcot. Trees are also damaged in similar ways here in our place and in other places as well.

well all i can say is people of these days should realize how important trees to us and maintaining ecosystem balance. even a 3 years old kid can say~ i don't see any reason why they couldn't.

Trees are precious & we have to raise our voice to save them.Deforestation should be stopped immediately.There are laws but its implementation till now is not upto the mark.

Why is it that today's youth does so many pointless things. Vandalizing trees, what's next? Does anyone know why these kids are doing this. I hope they have a heck of a good reason. When I was a kid, I used to respect people property...

When I was a kid if I ever dreamed about doing something like this and my parents found out I wouldn't see the light of day.
