What exactly did they do to the trees? Cut them down? Or did they carve something on the trunk? I think trees are the easiest things to vandalize cos most people think that they grow and repair the damage anyway. What they don't take into consideration is that though the tree can repair itself, it can't repair all of the damage. Sometimes, when extensive damage was caused, it cannot even repair itself.
