The Blue Boar 2008/02/20 09:13 Karma: 0
While researching online, I came across this quaint, cozy-looking inn called "The Blue Boar". I've been browsing some pictures of Chipping Norton and now I'm adding it to the list of places to visit. Has anyone ever been to this inn? I'd love to stay here during my visit if I can... or any other suggestions would be more than welcome!

Thank you for sharing this one. It looks so quaint. I do know there are a lot of inns and B&B's in and around this area. I remember my parents stayed at a place called the Tariff. It is not a very big place but it is very private and I know they enjoyed their stay there. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing this information. The area does seem to have a lot of pretty places to stay. I'll check out the Tariff for sure, but at the moment I can't seem to get anything with google. I'll try again later!

I haven't heard oh this " the blue boar" hotel. Maybe it was named after the famous Boar War of south Africa. I read in history class about this. Wonder why though. Maybe they had been to this war.

The place looks cozy indeed. How much do they charge? I mean what are their rates? I would not mind spending a little above my budget if it is really worth it.

I also believe they have a full complete restaurant their too called the Lamb at Buckland. They seem to offer a full menu list even vegetarian meals.
