An announcement for all you pet-lovers out there - the Blue Cross Animal Adoption Center in Shilton Road will be holding its annual walk for homeless pets on Sunday, May 18.

The 3-mile stroll which will begin at 11 am, will donate all of the proceeds of the event to the charity care of the center's homeless pets.

Okay, see you all there on Sunday! And oh, please don't forget to bring your pets along!

A three-mile trek with our pets? But wouldn't the furry darlings feel tired? At least, my dog wouldn't! She is a hyperactive creature, and she will love every moment of it.

This is a great idea though. I think it is a wonderful gesture of love toward strays. I hope a day will come when we don't see a single homeless animal around.
