What is the best pub in or around Bicester to have a nice meal?

Last sunday i had been to a pub in Oakley called the Chando's Arms.Am not sure if anyone else has been there. Had a lunch and fish and chips with my friend and i got to say that it was yummy and reasonably priced. just try it out and you wont be disappointed.

That sounds good. I'd like to have some traditional English fish and chips as soon as I get over to Oxford in the summer. What was the atmosphere like in at Chando's Arms? Did they have any special local beers on tap to try out?

it is a friendly local pub serving great food as well as good beer. it has a massive selection of beers, wines and spirits at unbeatable rates. and if you are looking for some traditional food as you just said, then this is the place to be.

I had heard that the steaks are really good here also. Do they have any bands that play here? Thanks.

The pub that sig told about is not a very bad place. I haven't been there but I have a friend who lives near it or so he says. He said that he loves that pub.

Barley Mow In Bicester is a good place to eat, a nice quaint place with a fireplace inside. A little history on this pub. It was burnt down in 1975. About 10 years ago it had some changes made and was give a makeover by Chef & Brewer.
