Ten out of 11 pubs and restaurants in Bicester have tested positive for drugs.
But police claim the town does not have a big drugs problem despite some landlords warning the use of recreational drugs is rife.
Officers used swabs to test the toilets of 11 pubs and restaurants in the town centre last month.
Results just revealed show traces of cocaine in nine licensed premises, ketamine - a horse tranquilliser - in three, and heroin in one.

Till now Bicester has no severe spreading of drugs.But it is growing in an exponential manner.If it is not checked now,a dangerous situation will arive within 2-3 years.

It is surprising and really sad to learn that ten out of eleven pubs in Bicester alone fail the drug test. I could just imagine how rampant this problem is in other places. More strict laws have to be implemented with regards to these issues.

I wonder how many of the pubs actually allow under age drinking too. With all the Raves here, cocaine is an easy target.

Bicester is no better or worse than any other place in the UK, at least they are taking measures to stop it.

i'm quite surprise that drugs are found in here... like you said, its a student town.. by right there shouldn't be any of those... many time had change and students start to use drugs and help them in study?
